Lian Maojun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Working Committee of Shenyang-Fushun New Area and Director of the Administrative Committee of Shenyang-Fushun New Area, said that the area has already signed 78 frameworks and investment agreements with the total investment value reaching 77 billion yuan. More than 10 billion yuan has been invested in a number of projects.

Lian Maojun believed that such achievements were attributed to a favorable business environment and an innovative mechanism, the biggest advantages for Shenyang-Fushun New Area, apart from the area’s great advantages in location, transportation and environment. The area’s mainstream industries cover comprehensive health, big data, artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, headquarters economy and technology finance.

In the perspective of management mechanism, Shenyang-Fushun New Area adopts the marketized development mode of “administrative committee plus enterprises”. This means that the market and companies will be put in the first place.

In the future, Shenyang-Fushun New Area will try its best to build itself into the pilot area for reform and opening-up in Northeast China, the benchmarking area for optimizing the business environment and the leading area for promoting innovation-driven development. The area will, in 3 years, make a new breakthrough by doubling its total economic value. It will, in 5 years, take on a new look by quadrupling its total economic value. It will, in 10 years, reach a new height by becoming the new engine for Liaoning’s economic growth.
